Organize a Drive

A group of young women and teachers organizing a Bagged Lunch Drive.

Drives can make a big impact on our community. Whether you are looking to organize a community project for a specific organization or for yourself (for example, a Mitzvah Project) a drive helps you to bring together loved ones, houses of worship, school, civic groups, and community groups to support a great cause. Successful drives are planned around specific types (such as jacket drive, shoe drive, sock drive, food, etc).

Below are our drive options:

  • Brown Bag Lunch Packing (brown bag lunches) -  We have two options to assist with lunches are fantastic for our clients Sustainable and Fresh. You can purchase these items on your own to assemble as a group. For more details about this type of event, click here.

  • Organize a Clothing or Product Drive -  Collect clothing, water bottle cases, or drive traffic to our Amazing Wish List. We collect clothing seasonally and only new and clean gently used clothing can be collected. Water bottles are in high demand all year long. For additional details about this type of event, click here.

  • Hygiene Kit Packing (hygiene kits) - Hygiene Kits are always in demand. Kits typically contain sample or travel sizes of shampoo, deodorant, body lotion, shaving cream, razor, toothbrush, toothpaste, socks, and body cleansing wipes. You can collect your own items to assemble into kits. For more details about this type of event, click here.

  • Cold Weather Kit Packing (Seasonal: Oct-Feb) (cold weather packs) – These kits are designed to make living outside more bearable for those unable to find shelter. Kits typically contain hand warmers, foot warmers, lip balm, socks and a solar blanket. You can collect these items on your own to assemble into kits. For more details about this type of event, click here.
