Volunteers amplify our impact
immeasurably with consistent
commitment to our mission. From packing lunches and making soup to the distribution of hygiene kits, our volunteers are the heart of these initial encounters with people experiencing chronic homelessness.
Happening every weekend in two Newark locations & on Thursdays in Rahway, a group of volunteers provides brown bag lunches, hot soup, various kits, and clothing to the homeless.
This unique volunteer opportunity experience allows you to directly interact and engage in conversation with the people that Bridges serves.

All adults and teenagers are welcome. Children ages 10 to 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
