GET INVOLVED

Soup Making Volunteers.HEIC

Bridges is supported by thousands of volunteers who are an important part of our team. Some volunteer on a consistent basis, others bring together their loved ones, houses of worship, school, civic group, and co-workers for a monthly, quarterly, or annual experience. We are extremely flexible and will work with you to find the perfect volunteer opportunity for you and/or your group.

VOLUNTEER

Volunteers of all ages are essential in our fight to tackle homelessness. From packing bag lunches and soup preparation to lending professional services such as social media marketing, photography, or data analytics, we would not be where we are today without our dedicated volunteers.

CORPORATE
ENGAGEMENT

From employee volunteer events to corporate sponsorships, Bridges is a viable hyper-local partner in building corporate social responsibility.

Let us help you to meet your goals and improve the lives of so many in need in our local community.

ORGANIZE A DRIVE

Many hands make light work! Collection drives of regularly needed items for our homeless population is a great way to engage with friends, community, school, church, or run a mitzvah project.

Organize a Clothing, Product, Hygiene Kit, Cold Weather Pack, or Brown Bag Lunches drive.

HOST A PACKING EVENT

Bring people together to assemble hygiene kits, cold weather packs, or brown bag lunches.

These can be put together using items collected from supply drives or by purchasing ready-to-pack kits directly from Bridges.

OUTREACH RUNS

Outreach Runs are held every weekend and are a great way for teens and adults to fully experience our mission by interacting directly with Bridges’ beneficiaries. On a Run, volunteers engage in conversation, serve hot soup, hand out brown bag lunches, and distribute various kits and clothing.

SOUP WARMING

Before each Outreach Run, volunteers heat up soup in our Summit kitchen. The process takes less than an hour. The hot soup is then transported and distributed to the Bridges' beneficiaries by the Outreach Run volunteers. You can sign up to help with the Soup Preparation and then go to the Outreach Run.

PRODUCT DONATIONS

We welcome donations of new and gently used clothing as well as essential hygiene items. Items can be dropped off to our Summit location or, save a trip and click to order items directly from our Amazon Wishlist.

ATTEND AN EVENT

Throughout the year, Bridges hosts exciting events to drive mission awareness and program funding. From 5Ks to Formal Galas, there are lots of ways to engage and have fun with Bridges!
