BRIDGES Outreach, Inc

BRIDGES began in 1988 with just one suburban couple. Today, BRIDGES’ outreach includes over 1,500 kind and caring volunteers delivering over 75,000 bagged brown lunches, literally tons of clothing and toiletries and other necessities each year. Since 1988, BRIDGES has not missed a weekly RUN into Manhattan. Recognizing the need closer to home, BRIDGES expanded its operations in 1996 to Newark and in 2002 to Irvington.

Summer outreach help and lunches are needed to NY on Fridays, Newark on Saturdays and Irvington on Sundays.
Groups from neighborhoods, offices and houses of worship are invited to join our outreach visits. Go to "RUN Schedule" to sign up.

July 4th

The Friday, July 4th Run to NYC, will leave from Bridges at 9 a.m. All lunches or breakfast bags must be delivered to Bridges between 8:30 and 9 a.m. BRIDGES WILL BE CLOSED FROM 9 A.M. ON FRIDAY, JULY 4 TO MONDAY, JULY 7.
Bridges has never missed a Friday Run to NYC in 20 years and this July 4 will be no exception. The Run will leave here at 9 a.m. and deliver hot dogs and other picnic food to our homeless friends.

Bridges' Brown Bag Bash
